A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is a contract between an electricity generator and a power purchaser (customer) to purchase on-going solar power at long-term rates. The solar service provider installs and maintains solar facilities on customer properties. Customers only pay for the power generated by the facility – not the equipment or installation.
