The potential for residential and commercial solar to create jobs is beyond belief.
Rather than relying on machines like the coal industry does, solar relies on labor. Currently, there are around 4,000 residential solar jobs in the U.S. By 2010, this number will nearly reach 7,000. By 2012, there will be over 20,000 jobs in the home solar industry! These include installation crews, salespeople, and corporate & administration positions.

Part-time Energy Auditor
We are seeking an Energy Auditor for our energy services division. The successful candidate must have thorough understanding of residential and small commercial energy management, be knowledgeable of new and current technologies and trends and be able to work independently. Experience conducting energy audits, utilizing appropriate tools (means & methods) and experience in implementing “proven” energy conservation technologies.
The Field Engineering Auditor:
- Perform on-site inspections
- Analyze energy usage and develop energy management plans
- Identify problems impacting energy consumption in order to recommend energy conservation and efficiency measures
- From those findings, develop an energy assessment report that clearly presents the recommendations, alternatives and return on investment
- Able to perform energy savings measures as outlined on energy assessment report.
